New Class – Barre
New teacher, Victoria Lowe, comes from a dance background and after several years away from her movement practice, she discovered Barre whilst looking for ways to re-engage with dance in a more safe and supportive way. Barre is a low-impact exercise that combines elements of ballet, Pilates, yoga, and strength training. Classes typically focus on small, pulsing movement that emphasizes form, alignment and core engagement and people of all abilities are welcome. Victoria’s classes are welcoming, creative, and dynamic so expect to get sweaty.

CONTACT USOur Classes Explained
Hatha YOGA
In truth, nearly all styles of modern yoga are rooted in the Hatha tradition, but nowadays people tend to use the term Hatha to identify a ‘traditional’ yoga class. A style which strengthens and lengthen muscles and oils the joints. You tend to do a pose on one side, then the other rather than flow movement to movement. This creates a beautiful feeling of balance in the body.
Perfect for: those starting on their yoga journey and more experienced practioners looking to explore the breath and body at a slightly slower pace with a few challenges added in.
Hatha Flow & Slow Flow
Poses are linked together in a coherent sequence, and you are given time to hold and explore the asanas (poses) for a positive impact on your mental, emotional & physical wellbeing. Strong emphasis is placed on breath awareness in synchronisation to movement, as you mindfully flow from one pose to the next. These classes will help improve strength, flexibility, coordination and balance as well as encouraging the mind to settle.
Perfect for: if you have a bit if yoga experience, a reasonable fitness level, like flowy classes but want to hang around in a pose for a few breaths to connect all the internal and external pieces.
Vinyasa
Traditionally taught as one breath one movement –with a creative spin. However, the true translation of vinyasa is “to place in a special way,” so the pace and intensity can vary.
Our Vinyasa classes can be a physical as you want. Our classes can be adapted to advanced vinyasa fans to those starting out, as our resident vinyasa teacher is brilliant at catering for the needs of those in her class. In these classes, generally expect almost constant movement – with room for relaxation at the end.
Perfect for: those who like a fast paced, fiery class, those who love dance, those who want to get lost in the breath and movement.
Pilates
Our classes are mat based and are run as mixed level, with some beginner level classes.
Classes tend to feature ‘layered’ exercises to enable clients to work at a level which is suitable for them that day. Props such as soft balls, resistance bands and light hand weights are added for a bit of variety.
chair Yoga
Find your practice in the comfort of a chair. You’ll find the benefits of a yoga practice, moving through the asanas (poses) with the support of a chair. A style of yoga for those who have some physical limitations or who find getting on and off the floor a challenge. These classes are accessible, inclusive and safe for everyone.
Perfect for: seniors and those with reduced mobility.
Restorative yoga
A mainly a floor based, passive class where the body finds the shape of the asana (pose) with the support of props. The body will still feel stretched but crucially in this practice we are able to let go of tension and find stillness to facilitate a greater sense of Introspection as we feel the props hold us. The parasympathetic nervous system is stimulated and you’ll find a deeper sense of presence. You’ll be encouraged to embrace stillness and you’ll leave transformed.
Perfect for: EVERYONE, who is comfortable on the floor.
Yoga Gently
A gentle session to reward and honour the body. The class begins with breath awareness moving into stretches, finishing with some restorative poses and a longer relaxation. Some of the class is floor based. Chairs provided if there are any mobility problems
Perfect for: seniors, those with reduced mobility, anyone returning from injury or anyone wanting a gentler, slow paced class.
Rise and flow
That sweet spot between a dynamic and a slow flow. Where fluid movements (one breath, one movement in the tradition of vinyasa yoga) and time to hold to explore asanas, and listen and observe the breath meet (still flow, but a little slower!)
This session all equals up to a calm mind, and an energised and happy body before you get on with your day.
Perfect for: those with a bit of yoga experience or more confident beginners.
